2006 Victoria County Tourism Statistics

   1) Cape Breton Highlands National Park
      a) Report Visit Days by Comparison 2000-2006 - CBHNP
      b) Report Visit Days 2006 - CBHNP

    2) Cape Breton Highlands National Park 2006 Digital Video Monitoring Study results
        from June to October indicate the Cabot Trail attracted close to 1150 cyclists with 39%
        travelling from east to west and 61% from west to east.  In the same study the Cabot Trail
        attracted close to 12,000 motorcycles from June to October with 54% travelling from east to
        west and 46% from west to east.

   3) The Cape Breton Highlands Trail Project from June to October 2006 study results indicate
       36,352 people hiked the Bog Trail, 26,290 hiked the  Skyline trail, 3,083 hiked Corney Brook
       Trail and 1,939 hiked Acadian Trail.
